The first collection from the series "History of Fashion" performed at the Imperial porcelain factory is called "Prelestnitsa" ("Charmer") and includes six tea pairs of the shape "Gerbovaya" that was created at the factory in the XIX century and restored according to the museum sample from the the State Hermitage collection. The combination of a white porcelain surface with a light blow of the "gallant century" depicted on it as ancient, colorful fashion illustrations of the XIX century from Alexander Vasilyev's personal collection gives the works a solemn look and modern sound. Today these engravings with image and short descriptions of models in the clothes of the time, that are hand painted with watercolors, are a bibliographical rarity and priceless historical evidence of a bygone era.
